Go cashless with Tagcash

Tagcash enables users and merchants to deposit, spend, charge, transfer and withdraw Fiat currencies using web and mobile app wallets. Merchants can also use the Tagcash API to integrate services into their own products. There are no transaction fees for user to user or merchant to merchant transfers.

For payments from user to merchant account, tagcash charges 2%, half of which is given as a rebate to the customer in TagCoin rewards cryptocurrency, and the other half added to a fund that is given back to customers via scratchcard prizes.

HOW REWARDS AND SCRATCHCARDS WORK

At the point of payment, as soon as funds are sent to a merchant account, 2% is deducted. Of that 2 percent, half is paid to the user in the form of TagCoin Cryptocurrency rewards, which itself can be traded or used within Tagcash ecosystem or elsewhere. The other half is added to a central fund which is drawn from to give prizes via Scratchcards. Every time a customer pays more than USD $2 equivalent, a scratchcard is given which gives the customer a chance to win money or other rewards. Merchants can opt to pay half the merchant fee in Tagcoin, which will automatically be deducted from their TagCoin wallet. Merchants have the option to accept TagCoin as a method of payment for all or part of purchases, so the 2% fee is in effect reduced.

So, if you want to earn TagCoin cryptocurrency, insist that your merchant start taking payments using Tagcash. It's faster and you will earn! You will also have a chance to win money and prizes each time you make a purchase.

Merchants can use various methods for charging customer wallets, including QR code scanning with or without PIN code, pinless charging for recurring micropayments, website and app payments using email and PIN to confirm, Bill Payments and more. An open REST API is available to view and test at developer.tagcash.com for merchants who wish to integrate Tagcash into their products.

The Tagcash mobile and website wallet apps include various financial services for crowdfunding, crowdlending, Bill Payments, Load / Airtime purchases, loyalty services and more. Merchants can also develop their own apps that can be used by customers and staff incorporating all the above payment methods, either using our whitelabel service or by integrating the Tagcash API.

Tagcash integrates with Stellar Blockchain for easy transfer or conversion of Fiat and other assets to and from the Tagcash Wallet, mainly for international remittances to the Tagcash Wallet. TagCoin is also fully integrated with Stellar, so you don't need to keep it with Tagcash if you don't want to. You can read about this here.

FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)

First register and login on the website or using the Tagcash Wallet Mobile app. Verify your identity and you will be approved for receiving and spending.
Depending on the currency there are different ways to deposit and withdraw cash. For example for Philippine Pesos (PHP), deposits can be made by bank (free), 7-Eleven (2% fee), agents or Bitcoin converted at current rate on coinmarketcap.com, and withdrawals can be made to bank (Fee 20 Pesos), remittance center (variable fees) or Bitcoin. For other currencies, wire transfers are used to deposit or withdraw (Fees are USD $25 per withdrawal and USD $10 per deposit.)
You have 2 options. The first is to use the Tagcash APi - documentation and testing using Swagger can be done on demo and live data, available at http://developer.tagcash.com
Amongst other features, this enables creation of users within Tagcash, handling verification, sending of money to others, and charging users from within your apps or websites.

The second option is setup a wallet node by connecting to the Tagcash Blockchain (install multichain.com software, connected to the tagcash node (tagcash@tagcash.com:3000), and send RPC-JSON API commands to the node, such as sending money to others, creating new addresses and so on. Each address created would have to be granted with send and receive permissions, which can be done via Tagcash API. This option is only available for merchants, banks and other fintech providers.
An example of how you might send money using the command line or via a JSON RPC command sent from your app, would be "sendasset addresshere PHP 100". The command line will send the money to that address then return the tansaction ID. For all the commands that can be used within the Multichain API use "multichain-cli tagcash help".
The public Tagcash Fiat Blockchain explorer is available at https://explorer.tagcash.com, where you can search and get information on transaction IDs, addresses, Blockchain parameters and more.
If you are familiar with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Tagcash Wallets work in exactly the same way. Public addresses are used to receive funds, and private keys are used to spend those funds. Each public address has a corresponding private key. You should never share your private keys with anyone.

Once you are connected to the Tagcash Blockchain, either personally using a Multichain Node Wallet, or via an application using the blockchain, you can send funds to anyone anywhere else using the same system, using public addresses to send to.
