Custom Tokens can be created on Tagcash Blockchan by anyone - Create or login with a personal account and then create or switch to a merchant account. It takes seconds to create a new merchant account. Navigate to Services from the left menu and look for the "Create and Manage Tokens" section.
Once created, permissions can be set to any address on the Tagcash chain (be that on a external node or user in Tagcash). Permissions include Admin, Issue, Activate, Send and Receive. Permissions can be revoked for an address sinply by searching for an address and unchecking the checkboxes.
Your created token can be used within Tagcash (for example in the trading module), or using the various Services such as Crowdfunding, Reward Catalog, Gift Vouchers and much more. Installing Multichain on your own network and linking to the Tagcash blockchain, means you can create your own apps and integrations.
There is a one time fee to create a Token (250 TAG Tokens, or 99 USD). The Tagcash API can be used but is capped at 25,000 transactions per month.
The address format of tokens is the same as Bitcoin, so any existing Bitcoin libraries can be used in conjunction with the Tagcash Blockchain. Private key/public key combinations can be created within the Tagcash wallet, or created via connected nodes without any reference to Tagcash.
FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)
Issue - issue more of your created asset, but only if reissue was enabled when Token was created.
Activate - enables others to grant other addresses send and receive permissions.
Send & Receive - each address can be given permissions to send or receive.
When using the command line, permissions can be granted or revoked like this:
grant addresshere admin, issue, activate, send, receive revoke addresshere admin, issue, activate, send, receive
The second option is create a wallet node by connecting to the Tagcash Blockhain, and sending RPC-JSON commands, with commands to send money to others, creating new addresses and so on. Those addresses can be tied to your users in your application.
Once you are connected to the Tagcash Blockchain, either personally using a Multichain Node Wallet, or via an application using the blockchain, you can send funds to anyone anywhere else using the same system, using public addresses to send to.
Managed Wallet - Tagcash manages your balances, and you have 1 address to use for receiving funds. This is also what is used for exchange trading
External Wallet - Exernal wallets allow you create your own public and private keypairs to control your funds, but you are responsible for your own private keys. If you lose a private key, then you also lose the ability to spend anything from that address. If someone else has your private key, they can also spend your funds. However, you do have the ability to freeze an address if you have admin rights to a Token, or you can contact the administrator of the Token, to track or stop fund transfer.
